Tough luck on getting comments, Gayle.

I would like to suggest a good online resource for science education. The website is called "ScienceStage," and it has a large video library and access to research papers from open databases.

I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Google Docs has added a new equation editor for mathematics teachers and students. There is a new subscript and superscript tool that can be used in writing chemical compounds and mathematics equations.
